No you are not aloud unless its for disabled, if you go on line you can find out where you can park for disabled parking on most major towns. I suggest you park on the yellow lines, as long as loading is aloud then you can park, where it's safe of course

I don't think so because some of the residents might be disabled them self's and need the parking space. Where I live there is a block of flats for pensioners, and no one can use the spaces. The flat includes the parking space. So sorry to tell you this.

would have thought you would need residents permit to park in residents bay. the blue badge will allow you to use the disabled parking

She shouldn't really but I would suggest that you park on double yellow lines as long as you do not cause an obstruction. Also make sure she gets out of the car as you should not park using the badge if she stays in the car. I got a bollocking from the police because of this!!!

No, you aren't entitled to park in private car parks with a blue badge - only in the designated spaces.

YES.!

I am a blue badge holder and you can park 24/7 in a residents only bay on a public highway, providing your badge is appropriately displayed.

i did check with the local authorities on this as where i used to live was residents only.!

I am not certain about your areas laws. but most places lets you park free in metered or buisness parking areas. I would think the same courtousy is alowed in open residence areas. Ask at your law enfourcement agency and be respectful of the residence needs and rights.

I would think that would depend on where you live. If it's in the US, yes, if she has a blue handicapped placard, she should be able to park about anywhere. If not, drop her at the door, take her inside, then go park your car. After you are finished, leave her at the door, go get the car, and pick her up at the door.

Ask the parking committee of the village to be sure

If it's not a disabled space and is for residents only then I'm gonna go with a no.

Nope. Stop near the door and help her out then go find a legal parking space. No one will fault you for stopping near the door long enough to help her.
