When I was a kid, I was obsessed with weather paterns, maps, flags and soccer (as I memorised every single result of every fixture of the 1998 World Cup. all 64 at the age of 6!). I also have found it hard to interact with other people through life. Is it plausible that I suffer from Aspergers or some sort of high functioning autism? I would feel silly if I went to get tested and it turned out that I was neurotypical. Also have Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.

Very well could be. Major symptoms of Aspergers are special interest such as the ones you mentioned and great memorization skills. Social difficulties are the hallmark of Asperger's. Dyslexia and Dyspraxia are comorbid conditions of Asperger's as well. Of course a neurology expert/mental health care professional will have to see you in order to tell for sure.

All i will declare isn't any college shall reject you reason of your Autism issues and so on. attempt to prepare math a jiffy on a regular basis and doubtless study lots once you may and interior of a few months or so your third grade point ought to bypass up some grades, and your fears of math will slowly vanish. i wish your targets will become a Psychologist, reason with you having Autism and becoming to be a Psychologist could make different mothers and dads with autistic babies seem as much as you for help and extra.

I fit all the descriptions online and it all made sense to me. There wasn't a black and white issue that I could relate to though even though all the pieces seemed to fit. I had always wondered why everyone else could take codeine and pass out whereas it would make me a bit jittery and gave me insomnia. This black and white issue sealed it for me.

It very well could be. There is no harm in getting tested. That is what the tests are for. To see if you have it or not. Dr,s work for you, put them to work
