Some children with Cerebral Palsy do walk. It depends on how severely they are affected, and what can and must be done to minimize that impact. Good luck to your son!

It depends on the severity of the condition. He may learn to walk, but it will be months later probably. When he does, his gait will be stiff. There are ways to improve his walking. Lots of physical therapy will help him. They may give exercise ideas for you to do with him at home. If you are diligent, you will probably see lots of improvement, and his legs will become stronger! Don't give up! With the right tools, it will happen eventually! Best of luck to you and your little boy!
