Piyes we do find many tasks very daunting so we need support sometimes with certain tasks.

Maybe for him it is. Depends upon the nature of the disability. There are many things I cannot do so I don't even try; e.g. getting down on hands/knees to wash floors. Because of bad knee once down can't get up again. That's discouraging.

Daunt means to make afraid or discouraged. Can't imagine why a task would be frightening but I can see that a person might be discouraged when confronted with some tasks if they cause pain.

She is wrong. I have multiple disabilities, some severe. There are tasks that are daunting, but not many. And mostly those are tasks that are new. I have a brand new disability. I have had macular edema for about 4 years and get eye injections mostly to keep my sight. Last week the injection went wrong. I in 5,00 do. BActeria got into the needle before It went into my eye and infected me. Now my left eye is patched with a 50^ chance of recovery. My other eye has very poor vision. But I am still writing this. Is it dauntiny- no. Is is rather difficult -yes. Is is likely full of errors = also yes. Daunting is trying to figure out which medicine to take when they haven't yet been marked with Braille dots. I can't see the label - even magnified. The pills are the same size as another pill. The colors are similar. I I take in the morning, 1 at night. I labeled one with a strip of electric tape I can see. SO now what I take is consistent, and I don't feel bad, so I thinkk I got it right, But until a friend comes over tomorrow to help me I really don't know.

It depends on the person/task, but yeah, you can over-generalize the matter in that way, as I'm sure it's true for many of the disabled.

It depends what the disability is.
