I'd ask the people being served! It depends partly on their disabilities, but generally any fun activities for able-bodied people have the potential to be fun activities for the disabled.

I worked at a travel camp for people with disabilities, and some of the fun (I thought!) outings we did were:

1. whale watching (depends on your location of course!)

2. arcade

3. movies (we saw "George of the Jungle" with a bunch of people with mental retardation and traumatic brain injuries - good times!)

4. farm/petting zoo/zoo (depending on interest of clients)

5. aquarium

6. trips to "fun" stores or shopping malls

7. picnics

8. swimming

9. "mining" at a place where they hid the rocks in a sandy cave. Fun, but that particular one I would not recommend for wheelchairs, as some got stuck in the sand! but there's other "mining" type places that might be more accessible.

You might call around to some places and ask what their accommodations are like to get some ideas.

1. Ask them.

2. Tell them about the things you enjoy doing.

3. Inspire them (and yourself) to try new things.

4. Being disabled does not mean you enjoy different things - you just might enjoy them differently.
