Prepare a letter that you can include with the papers you deliver. Explain the problem and the solution (your email account). Some of them won't read the letter but more will. Good luck.

Sound like a kid to me, so go to newspaper and ask them to put the advertisement and put your email on it.

ADD: To Ghost of Indycar Girl: You will need to ask your mother who is your real father.

LOL.

You're right, what you are doing is great for you and the customers. I can see where they would need to have your contact info, if they don't get the paper or whatever the case may be. I agree w/ the poster who says to attach your letter to the paper. Let them know you are hearing impaired and give them your e-mail address. Also keep in mind a lot of older people, my mothers age, do not use computers or cell phones, so they can maybe have a back up number to reach you. Maybe through your parents, or a friend who can take calls in case they need to reach you, or have them contact your boss who in turn can send you text messages. Keep that in mind. Especially if you deliver to older people who only use land lines, 75 years old and have no other ways to contact you except their own telephone.

Also when you write the note to them, keep it very short and simple. No pity or life story is necessary. Just the facts and contact info for you and your boss.

I've never contacted my newspaper carrier. So maybe none of your customers have any reason to contact you? Why don't you give them information about how to use a relay service in addition to emailing you. Or if you have a cell phone - give them that number and tell them to text you.
